The goal of the Bookkeeping Certificate program at Winn College is to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to become competent bookkeepers. The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, payroll procedures, and tax preparation. Upon completion of the program, students should be able to perform essential bookkeeping tasks, such as maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and managing payrolls. The program also emphasizes the use of technology and software commonly used in the bookkeeping field to ensure that students are up-to-date with the latest tools and practices in the industry. Eight courses make up the bookkeeping diploma program.
